the journey of Audisia
The Valle d'Itria is a magical place made of beautiful landscapes and architectural trulli, stone farms, breathtaking landscapes of the sea, olive groves and red soil. From 15 to 20 August, the VIVA! festival, an event born from the collaboration between AUDI and Club To Club, has animated this part of Puglia with an event of music and art that has attracted around 40,000 visitors from all over the world. The VIVA! was born with the intention of combining the tradition and the charm of the territory with some of the most important artists of the international avant-pop scene, proving already a reality of the cultural landscape of southern Italy in all respects. In fact, the line-up included over 30 artists, including Nicolas Jaar, DJ Shadow, Lorenzo Senni and many others.
As part of the IED chosen students group, we created this stunning animation mapping project that was projected in the last night of the festival as a closing act.
I was working on my part with Cameron Harnish and together we created this collage landscape that visualize a full day in Locorotondo (from early morning to night) and combining the traditional feeling with some techno style.
